Several Wards at Megumi General Hospital Quarantined After MRSA Outbreak

Several wards at Megumi General Hospital, the largest healthcare facility in Umikyo, have been effectively locked down following an outbreak of MRSA, believed to be affecting three healthcare workers, two visitors, and fifteen patients.

The hospital’s communications team have announced that the bacteria entered through a critically ill patient that was improperly screened, allowing nineteen others at the hospital to be unknowingly infected before workers became aware of the presence of the drug-resistant bug.

Megumi General Hospital remains open, with hospital officials reassuring that the rest of the facility remains open and safe.
